Ah, up to a point. Even with the curve, it's better if it's symmetrical - down the same amount at both ends - essentially I'm suggesting you correct a tilt.

And actually, it's possible to avoid the curve altogether: make sure the horizon crosses the middle of the field of view, and the horizon at least will be straight. Other straight lines, that don't cross the centre, won't be, of course.
